Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the oldest teams in the NFL, having formed in 1933 to replace the Frankford Yellow Jackets, who had gone bankrupt. Since that time the Eagles have won three NFL titles and appeared in two Super Bowls, unfortunately losing both of them. Other than that, they have won been Conference Champions on three occasions and made 11 Playoff appearances.

The Eagles play their home games at Lincoln Financial Field or the “Linc” as the locals call it, which has a seating capacity of 68,500. This stadium opened in 2003 and replaced Veterans Field. Both these stadiums had a jail, which contained cells for unruly prisoners. The owners removed the jail two years after opening as the crowd behavior improved.
