Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders joined the AFL as charter members in 1960 when the new Minneapolis franchise joined the NFL instead. They joined the NFL when the two leagues merged in 1970, playing from Oakland except for a spell of 13 when they played in Los Angeles. The Oakland Raiders have won 4 Conference Championships, 15 Division Championships and made 21 appearances in the Playoffs resulting in one AFL Championship and three Super Bowl victories, and losing in a further two final games. Oakland has had 13 players inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The O.co Coliseum is the home field for the Oakland Raiders, as well as the local MLB team, the Oakland Athletics, making it the last venue to host both a NFL and MLB team. The stadium first opened in 1966, but underwent a period of renovation in 1996. It now has a capacity of 63,026 for football.
