Indianapolis Colts

The history of the Indianapolis Colts traces back to one of the founding members of the NFL, the Dayton Triangles who formed in 1913. The Triangles moved to Baltimore and become the Baltimore Colts before in 1953. The Colts were the first NFL team to have cheerleaders and moved from Baltimore to Indianapolis in 1984. The Colts have won five NFL Championships including two Super Bowls. In addition, the Colts have won seven Conference Championships, 14 Division Championships and have 24 Playoff appearances including the last nine seasons.

After playing at the Hoosier Dome for 25 years, the Indianapolis Colts moved to Lucas Oil Stadium in 2008. This new stadium has a capacity of 63,000 and will be the host venue for Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. The Lucas Oil Stadium also hosts other sporting events, including basketball.
