Denver Broncos

One of the charter members of the AFL, the Denver Broncos joined the NFL in the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. With two Super Bowls and six AFC Championships the Broncos have become one of the most successful teams in NFL history. They have only won one Division Championship since the last Super Bowl triumph in 1998 and have won ten Divisions in total.

The Denver Broncos play at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, which is a replacement for the original Mile High stadium that opened in 2001. Every game at this stadium has sold out, the same as every home game has since 1970. It is tradition for the stadium announcer to announce the actual attendance for the game and for the fans to boo if more than 1,000 seats are empty. This does not mean that the game has not sold out, but that the fans did not show up on the day.
